Puzzle Expedition

Just as 2007 Game of the Year award winner Puzzle Quest successfully blended puzzle based gameplay with RPG elements, Puzzle Expedition blends problem solving brain benders with the best of adventure games.

The game is designed to let players relax by solving puzzles without any pressure (no finite number of lives, no time restriction) and reward their logical successes with advances in the core story, more challenging puzzle mechanisms to solve, and growing sense of anticipation for what might come next.

Many online puzzle games place time pressures on the player which can lead to frustration, or detract from the players enjoyment at simply solving the puzzle. Puzzle Expedition is designed to let players relax by solving puzzles without any pressure (no finite number of lives, no time restriction) and reward their logical successes with advances in the core story, more challenging puzzle mechanisms to solve, and we hope a growing sense of anticipation for what might come next. We are distinctly trying to avoid repetitious sequences of uninspired puzzles that players must “grind” through to reach the next interesting segment of the game, as we have seen too much of this approach in many of the other games in the genre.

Gameplay focuses on the cooperation of two characters who help each other to get into specific place. Both characters are using environments and mechanisms to succeed in this task. In the beginning they can only push blocks to solve puzzles but soon they are able to move lifts, use teleports, magnets, moving platforms, exploding blocks and many more combinations to finish levels.
